What Counts as a Basement: Fully Underground with No Sunlight

A basement is a fully dug (100% underground) floor where sun rays and cosmic energy cannot reach, making it a dead part where the planets cannot spread their energy.

What it does

Separates true basements from semi-basements and lower ground floors before applying basement rules.

Explanation and notes

A floor dug 40% into the ground with 60% above is a semi-basement, not a basement. A basement that gets proper full light is a lower ground floor. Where no sun ray reaches at all, the land becomes dead land, fit only for activities that need no sunlight.
