In the same places prescribed for underground and overhead water tanks; there is no separate location, whether the water is for the labour or for the owner.

Where should the oil tank be in a food factory?
A house has its entry in the Agni kon (South-East), an underground water tank in the South-East with the stairs over it, and the slope running to the South. The family fights constantly. What is the remedy?

Either leave the house or treat it: close the South-East underground water tank immediately and correct the slope. The staircase can stay. An overhead tank in the South-East is acceptable.

An 80 x 50 shed has its floor sloping North but its roof sloping West. Is that fine?

No, the westward roof slope is wrong. It disturbs the energy current, so some trouble will persist there, and the roof slope has to be corrected.

How can one test whether Parjanya devta is imbalanced, for example when factory machines keep breaking down?

Burn a little peeli sarson at Parjanya's place: if it bursts out in sharp sparks that touch the body, Parjanya is upset or imbalanced, which is why the machines there break down and do not give production. If the trees of the house do not reach their proper height or bear good fruit, Parjanya is displeased. Parjanya is active when a little original chandan applied there spreads its fragrance through the whole house and the residents' wishes come true.

We live in a housing society and do not know where the boring or septic tank is. Will it still affect us?

Yes. Not knowing makes no difference: the sun gives its rays whether or not someone believes in it, and a person who knows nothing of vastu still gets its doshas. A wrongly placed tank, boring, septic tank or sewer line affects the residents whether they know about it or not.

A bone was found on a plot meant for an industry. What must be done before building there?

Removing the bone is not enough; the land needs its rites, just as a house is purified after a death. Do a vastu registry with five coconuts (four corners and the bone spot), remove the affected soil, do agni sanskar with mango wood, ghee and camphor in 16 places and float the ash in flowing water, purify with water and mantra, sprinkle gomutra and plaster with cow dung, put lime and sulphur in the pit, keep a lamp burning there for 24 hours, and mix a little mercury into the soil and the four corners. If the shilanyas had already been done, it is broken and must be redone after purification.
