Bhoomi Vibhajan on Any Plot with the 0.333, 0.555 and 0.777 Ratios

The plot is divided into Brahma, Dev, Manushya and Pishach bhoomi by measuring the line from the centre to every corner and marking 0.333, 0.555 and 0.777 of its length. Joining the matching points gives four bands that follow the real shape of the plot.

What it does

Fits the 81 pad bhoomi division onto regular and irregular plots; it must be done before the Vastu devtas can be marked.

Where

Whole plot, from its centre to each corner

Samagri used

  • Map with the centre marked
  • Ordinary centimetre scale and a calculator
  • Optional ratio scale set: Pishach vithi scale (0.777), Manushya and Dev vithi scale (0.555) and Brahma vithi scale (0.333)
  • Pencil or fine marker

How to do it

  1. 1Draw a line from the centre to every corner of the plot, whether it has four, five, six or more corners
  2. 2Measure the first line from the centre in centimetres (for example 9.1 cm)
  3. 3Multiply the length by 0.777, 0.555 and 0.333 and mark the three results on the line from the centre (9.1 x 0.777 = about 7 cm), or lay each ratio scale with zero on the centre and mark where it reads 9.1
  4. 4Repeat for every corner line; in an irregular plot each length differs (for example 10, 10.1 and 10.5 cm)
  5. 5Join all outer points to each other, the middle points to each other and the inner points to each other
  6. 6Label the bands from outside inwards: Pishach vithi, Manushya vithi, Dev vithi and Brahma vithi in the centre

Cautions

  • Always keep the zero of the scale on the centre; reading from the wrong end gives a wrong mark
  • On an irregular plot do not join diagonal to diagonal; draw from the centre to each actual corner

Explanation and notes

In the 81 pad grid the line from the centre to a corner is 4.5 boxes: Brahma bhoomi takes 1.5 parts, Dev bhoomi the next 1, Manushya bhoomi the next 1 and Pishach bhoomi the last 1. So Brahma ends at 1.5/4.5 = 0.333, Dev at 2.5/4.5 = 0.555 and Manushya at 3.5/4.5 = 0.777 of the length. The special scales are not essential; they are ordinary scales made in these ratios to save the calculator work.

Principleअति मर्म स्थल

Ati Marma: Nine Vital Points of the Plot That Must Stay Free

Ati marma are the nine most sensitive points of the Vastu grid, formed where six devta-to-devta lines cross. In a regular, proportionate plot almost all of them fall in the Brahmasthan, and any piercing, load or dirt on them blocks the energy of the whole plot and brings severe, lasting trouble, above all to the owner (griha swami).

Testing

Ati Marma Check for Sudden Quarrels, Losses and Unexplained Illness

When a house built to good Vastu suddenly sees quarrels, business loss, restless children, bad dreams or a family member who stays ill, check what sits on its ati marma points. Shoes, a dustbin, a used plate or heavy goods placed there can trigger such trouble, and moving them brings quick relief.

Remedy

Ati Marma Remedies: Herbs, Metal Kurma (Tortoise) and Gems

Blocked marma and ati marma points are opened with injection-like remedies: special herbs are placed under marma points, while metal kurma (tortoise) figures, metals and precious minerals are installed on the ati marma. They reopen the blocked energy channels of the land.

Method

Dividing Any Map into 16 Zones of 22.5 Degrees

Once north is marked, a map of any shape is divided into 16 zones of 22.5 degrees by starting 11.25 degrees on either side of the north line. It takes about two minutes on regular and irregular maps alike.

Method

Dividing a Map into 32 Pads (Zones) of 11.25 Degrees

For 32 zoning each pad is 11.25 degrees, with N5 centred on the exact north (0 degrees). Start 5.62 degrees on either side of north and mark every 11.25 degrees, or mark the black lines of the zoning chakra.
