Red Potlis of Yellow Mustard for Protection on Vastu Visits

Every vastu consultant should carry small red cloth pouches of energised yellow mustard, because a client calls only when negative energy is present and it can come home in the consultant's bag. Potlis are also kept in the drawing room and under beds, and given to clients.

What it does

To stop negative energy from client sites reaching the consultant and family.

Where

Consultant's bag, kit or suitcase, the drawing room and under every bed; a red potli can go in any direction, even the North

Samagri used

  • Yellow mustard, washed and energised, about 10 g per pouch
  • Small red cloth pouches, 10 to 15

How to do it

  1. 1Wash and energise the yellow mustard
  2. 2Fill 10 to 15 small red cloth pouches with about 10 g each
  3. 3Keep them in your kit, bag and suitcase whenever you go on a visit or travel
  4. 4Leave one in your drawing room and one under every bed at home
  5. 5Give one or two energised potlis to every client

Cautions

  • Never enter a client's house for vastu work without yellow mustard in your bag

Explanation and notes

Families of vastu consultants often fall ill because negative energy is carried home from sites; this is a precaution, not a reason for fear. Red works like the railway's red flag: it stops negative energy from coming in, which is why a red potli can be placed anywhere. A medical student who keeps skeleton parts in a hostel room can carry a small one-inch red potli of yellow mustard in the pocket for the same protection.

Buried Bones (Shalya) Ruin Peace, Health and Business

A bone buried in a plot is the biggest land defect (shalya). It changes the chemistry of the surrounding soil, becomes a home for spirits and slowly destroys the peace, health and business of whoever builds there.

Methodभूमि शुद्धिकरण

Purifying Land After a Buried Bone Is Removed

The full purification done where a bone has been dug out, the land's equivalent of the rites after a death: vastu registry with five coconuts, removal of the affected soil, agni sanskar with mango wood, water, gomutra and cow-dung purification, lime and sulphur, a 24-hour lamp and mercury.

Other Shalya: Buried Furnace, Coal, Ash, Fossils and Kaudi

Besides bones, coal, ash, some animal fossils and kaudi in the ground act as shalya. A furnace (bhatti) left buried under a building ruins the family and the business, and kaudi must never be buried, although gomti chakra can be.

Never Bury a Plot Corner Under a Heavy Mass

The corners of a plot are its biggest sources of energy, and energy flows diagonally from corner to corner through the brahmasthan like a highway. Piling or filling a huge mass over a whole corner zone creates a serious defect.
