Principle

No Mirror-Polish Floor Tiles from South to West or in the Brahmasthan

A mirror deepens the surface it is on: on a wall it makes the space look extended, on the floor it creates a pit. Highly reflective tiles, marble or stone must not be used in the South to West zones or the Brahmasthan.

What it does

Prevent a virtual pit in zones that must stay heavy and high.

Where

Avoid in South, SSW, SW, WSW, West and Brahmasthan flooring

Samagri used

How to do it

  1. 1Check the flooring planned for S, SSW, SW, WSW, W and the Brahmasthan
  2. 2Do not use mirror-polish tiles, stone or marble that give a full reflection there
  3. 3Use such polish only in other zones

Cautions

  • Mirror polish in the West brings failure because a pit forms at Shani's place
  • Mirror polish in the Brahmasthan brings business loss and debt

Explanation and notes

Showrooms fix mirrors at the back so the shop looks bigger; people even walk into them because the space seems to continue. A reflective floor makes a low-lying part in the same way. If the South and South-West are very high, like a hill, a slight pit matters less, but on a level plot it creates a low-lying zone. A defect created this way is hard to trace later.

Principleदर्पण

Mirror (Darpan) as Mangal: Water Element and the Right Walls

The mirror is one of the eight mangal items (ashtamangal) and is considered the best of them; it drives away negative energy and reflects energy when placed in the right direction. It represents the water element and the Moon, so it belongs on the North or East wall.

Remedy

Convex and Concave Mirrors to Correct a Cut or an Extension

As taught in class, a convex mirror makes a small space look bigger and extends it, while a concave mirror makes a big space look smaller; so a convex mirror treats a cut and a concave mirror treats an extension. A plain mirror can also extend a cut.

Remedy

Pen Cap and Ink Colour by Name Rashi for Signing Documents

A signature can pass or cancel a proposal, a cheque or a property deal, so the pen used for signing is chosen by the rashi of the name you sign with: the cap or body colour and the ink colour are matched to that rashi. Only three inks are used for the 12 rashis: red, blue and green.

Principle

Curtain Colour by Kundli, Element and Zone

Curtains please the mind and also affect the planets, so their colour is chosen by the kundli, the element and the zone where they hang. For a business, take the colour of a supporting planet among the 10th, 9th, 11th or 2nd house lords, or else the 5th lord.
