Principle

POP False Ceiling: Hollow Gaps Store Negativity, Dust and Bacteria

POP (plaster of Paris with gypsum and adhesive) false ceilings leave hollow gaps that collect dust and negativity and retain moisture and bacteria, so they are best avoided.

What it does

To keep the space element clean and the family free of seasonal illness.

Where

Ceilings of all rooms

Samagri used

  • Plain finished roof slab
  • Solid carved wood if a decorative ceiling is wanted

How to do it

  1. 1Finish the roof slab directly and fix the fittings on it instead of building a POP false ceiling
  2. 2If a decorative ceiling is wanted, make a solid carved wooden ceiling like those of palaces, with no hollow space
  3. 3If POP must be used, limit it to one drawing room

Cautions

  • Hollow gaps behind POP cannot be cleaned daily and collect dust and negative energy
  • Homes with POP false ceilings often catch viral fever after the rains and at every change of season

Explanation and notes

Rich modern homes have stopped using POP ceilings; a very large house was recently built with no visible iron, no plywood and no POP at all. Gypsum board (calcium sulphate dihydrate) is not harmful as a material; the problems are hollow gaps and shapes that go against the element of the zone.
