Signs met while leaving home to see a land or building, such as body reactions, itching, dreams and sights on the road, foretell the energy and future of that property before you even reach it.

How to do it
- 1Notice your body reactions as you leave home for the site, including itching and where it occurs.
- 2Recall the dreams seen before the visit.
- 3Watch the road: a dead animal such as a dead rat, or darkness, is a bad sign; a full auspicious pot (mangal ghada), the ashta mangal symbols or an elephant raising its trunk is a good sign.
- 4If a bird drops on you, note on which part of the body it falls.
Explanation and notes
Around 25 to 35 such methods and 253 nimittas (signs from birds, cats, rats and others) were taught in the earlier land selection classes. The teacher rates this as the best method, because the land itself signals symbolically what it holds before you step on it.
