Inauspicious Omens on the Way to See a Plot or Flat

Shakun shastra (nimitta gyan) reads the signs met on the way to a property; certain sights and events on the journey warn that the plot or flat is not good. They arise because the land's energy is already acting on the visitor's body chemistry.

What it does

To recognise a bad property before reaching it.

When

On the journey from home to the property

How to do it

  1. 1Watch for a cat crossing your path: a cat going off to the right is acceptable, one going to the left gives a negative sign
  2. 2If the crossing cat stops midway and stares at you, take the land as very bad
  3. 3Treat a dead rat or any dead animal seen as you get out of the vehicle as a sign that the plot is not good
  4. 4Treat a collision while reversing the car, or any accident on the way, as a warning
  5. 5Treat a sneeze coming from the front (sammukh) while leaving home, at the threshold, getting into or out of the vehicle, or standing on the plot as a sign that the plot is not good
  6. 6Treat a procession showing black flags, such as a protest, or an effigy being burnt on the way as a sign that the plot is not good
  7. 7Watch the behaviour of owls, jackals, birds, dogs and cats you meet on the way

Cautions

  • If a cat stops in the path and stares at you, do not go to that land at all; even the visit brings negativity

Explanation and notes

When a visitor connects with a land, the chemistry of the neurons, glial cells and the 72,000 nadis changes, and the reaction shows up in events around the visitor and the vehicle. Cats and dogs are the biggest natural dowsers; they react first even before an earthquake, and a cat crossing the path is trying to stop a wrong journey. In a case shared in class, a cat crossed the path twice on the way to a property and at the gate a cat was seen holding a rat in its mouth; the house, though built as per vastu, had severe land energy problems.

Principle

Land Energy Carries 70 Percent Weight in Land Selection

When selecting a plot, flat or industrial land, the energy of the land itself decides about 70 percent of the result, more than slope, shape or surrounding structures. A building made fully as per directional vastu can still fail on land with bad energy.

Dehleez Test: Breath and Body Signs When Setting Out to See a Plot

The threshold (dehleez) of the home acts as a testing machine: the moment you step over it to go and see a plot, flat or factory, your breath and body signal whether that property is good. Equal flow in both nostrils or left-side body signs warn against it; earth or water element in the breath and right-side signs approve it.

Testingशल्य

Locating Buried Shalya from Bird Droppings, Injury and Itching

Where a bird's droppings fall on the visitor's body or clothes, where the visitor gets hurt, or where itching starts on the way to or while walking a land points to the matching part of the Vastu Purush where a defect or buried bone (shalya) lies.

Prediction

Dog, Jackal and Crow Omens at the Plot

The behaviour of street dogs, jackals and crows at a plot or flat reveals its quality: a crow cawing while facing East or North is a good sign, while crying dogs and a crow on a dry tree are grave warnings.

Prediction

Sights and Sounds on First Entering a Land or Flat

What one first sees and hears on stepping onto a land or into a flat indicates its energy: black items, broken things, snake holes and harsh sounds are bad signs, while a conch, aarti or auspicious songs, a rainbow or a joyful sky are good ones.

Prediction

Torn or Soiled Clothes While Visiting a Land

Clothes that tear, get a hole, or get soiled with mud, dung or dirty water on the way to or at a land signal that the land is not good; the position of a tear shows how bad it is.
