Three Bases for Choosing Interior Colours: Kundali, Zone and Work
Interior colours are selected in three ways: from the kundali (the planets ruling education, business, wealth and luck), from the element of the zone (its own colour or a friendly element colour), and from the work done in the space.
Principle
Red Colour for Physical Work: Why Porters and Warehouses Use Red
Red represents Mars and the Surya swar; it creates heat, fire and zeal in the body, so it is used wherever heavy physical work must be done fast.
Principle
Blue Colour: Cooling, Antiseptic and Calming for Study
Blue is a natural cooling and antiseptic colour that brings devotion, truth and respect, keeps body temperature balanced, and gives mental peace and spiritual growth.
Principle
Green Colour Therapy: Antiseptic, Detox and Fast Healing
Green, the colour of the air element, is antiseptic; it removes swelling, brings happiness, reduces negativity and detoxes the body.
Remedyबरगद के पत्ते
Warm Banyan Leaves Tied on a Swelling (Green Colour Healing)
Slightly warmed banyan leaves tied over a swollen part of the body remove the swelling; the healing comes from the natural green colour of the leaf.
Principle
Business Colours by Trade: Yellow, Red, White, Green, Black and Grey
Each trade has a supporting colour: yellow for every business, red for jewellery, chemicals, sweets and fire-related work, white for education, cloth and stationery, and green for health; black and grey only in small amounts.
Principle
Zone-wise Recommended and Forbidden Wall Colours
Each direction has colours that suit it and colours to avoid, based on the friendship and enmity of the planets ruling the zones.
Principle
Oil-based Lead Paint: Never Use Where People Sleep, Work or Study
Oil-based paint contains lead that is released into the air and breathed in, causing cough, cold, eye irritation and disease; water-based paint should be used instead.
