Family photos at home should show the whole family complete from head to feet, with no hand or foot cut, and statues or idols should show the full body. Close-up face photos and cut or bust figures bring trouble.

How to do it

  1. 1Replace close-up face photos with full-length family photos

Cautions

  • Do not display close-ups that cut the neck and show only the face
  • Do not keep cut statues such as a Buddha head or bust

Explanation and notes

The teacher observed that the years when close-up photos were most popular were years of more distress and unemployment. A photo of the complete family with all limbs (sangopang) is considered a good photo.
