Mahendra (Indra), the fourth devta of the East, is the king, sustainer and administrator who brings the energy of the planets, Sun, Moon and 27 nakshatras to earth and spreads it evenly through the house. Jayant (E3) gives the most success in light-weight goods, plastic items and the paper and plastic industries, and the steel industry was named next. Mahendra (E4) suits people who need a job or service, especially government jobs, contracts and tenders, and Surya (E5) rules politics, administration and government work. A chart showing the business and bhog samagri under every devta was promised.
Two devtas govern consultancy work (their names are unclear in the recording). In this class Mahendra (E4) is called the devta of successful consultants, and Satya (E6) the good advisor and decision-maker, with a court or justice room best made at E6.
