Principle

God Pictures: Full Figure with Feet Visible, Facing North-East

What it does

Receive energy from deity pictures correctly.

Where

Deity faces North-East; devis may face West

Samagri used

  • Complete picture of the deity with feet visible

How to do it

  1. 1Use a full picture that includes the feet
  2. 2Do not use cut-out or cropped images
  3. 3Hang it so the deity faces North-East
  4. 4Devi pictures may face West

Cautions

  • Never use a deity picture without feet
  • No cut-outs

Explanation and notes

The feet of the Lord are worshipped in every tradition. When you face the deity your own direction does not matter: before the Lord all directions become zero, and even the Sun first offers its rays at the Lord's feet.

Mirror (Darpan) as Mangal: Water Element and the Right Walls

The mirror is one of the eight mangal items (ashtamangal) and is considered the best of them; it drives away negative energy and reflects energy when placed in the right direction. It represents the water element and the Moon, so it belongs on the North or East wall.

Remedy

Convex and Concave Mirrors to Correct a Cut or an Extension

As taught in class, a convex mirror makes a small space look bigger and extends it, while a concave mirror makes a big space look smaller; so a convex mirror treats a cut and a concave mirror treats an extension. A plain mirror can also extend a cut.

Pen Cap and Ink Colour by Name Rashi for Signing Documents

A signature can pass or cancel a proposal, a cheque or a property deal, so the pen used for signing is chosen by the rashi of the name you sign with: the cap or body colour and the ink colour are matched to that rashi. Only three inks are used for the 12 rashis: red, blue and green.
