Cautions

  • Do not make the puja place in the South-East, South-South-East or South-South-West

Explanation and notes

North: Saraswati, Gautam Ganadhar and Ganesh puja. NNE: prana shakti sadhana and breath practice. NE and East: meditation, study and contemplation. South: Hanuman puja, and the zone for Devi puja; an idol of any Lord or Tirthankar can be kept in the South zone facing North. SW: photos of ancestors (pitra). WSW: Saraswati puja. West is the best direction of all: it grants dharma, artha, kama and moksha, riddhi-siddhi, prosperity, happiness, peace and growth of wealth and dharma, which is why the famous temples listed in the Guinness records have the Lord seated in the West facing East. WNW is the place of the yakshinis, and NW and NNW are used for tantric practices.

Principle

Toilet Effects in Each of the 16 Zones

Zone-by-zone results of a toilet: SSW and WNW are workable, NW and ESE only in an emergency, and every other zone damages what that zone governs.
