Explanation and notes
An L shape forms a triangle, which is the fire shape. Fire lives inside stone, as rocks melt deep in the earth's mantle, so the burner should sit on stone. Ratings: ceramic tiles very good (no adhesive); synthetic quartz stone (about 93 percent quartz with adhesive) acceptable; stainless steel acceptable to an extent; marble acceptable with the right colour; concrete moderate; laminate and wood not good. The smoother and more polished the stone, the better.
Interior work is done to change the mind, because everything follows from the mind. Pictures, colours and objects (chitra) change the state of mind (chitt), so the goal the mind should be led to must be fixed first.
