Principle

Physical Property of Materials: Check What Every Material Is Made Of

The fourth principle of interior vastu: study the physical and chemical properties of every building, decoration and remedy material (metal, wood, stone, adhesive, paint) and choose them according to the owner's planets.

What it does

Avoids illness and failure caused by harmful materials and lets the right material raise the owner's fortune.

Where

All building, interior and remedy materials

Samagri used

How to do it

  1. 1Check the chemical composition of each stone, metal, adhesive and paint before use
  2. 2Choose metals, stones and stone colours according to the owner's planets
  3. 3Check the chemistry of anything put into the ground or used as a vastu remedy

Cautions

  • A vastu consultant once had 4 kg of mercury put into a house; the whole family fell ill
  • If Shani (Saturn) is debilitated in the kundli, use as little iron as possible

Explanation and notes

Building material has changed completely: metal has become gun metal and wood has become plywood. Old temples show the right way: the Khajuraho temples have stood for over a thousand years without cement or adhesive, because male stones were joined into female stones. Which stone, which colour of stone and which composition suits a person is decided from the planets.

Principleराख की ईंट

Avoid Fly Ash Bricks: Ash Is Treated as Shalya

Bricks made from thermal plant fly ash mixed with sand and adhesive materials are wrong according to Vedic vastu, which likens ash (raakh) to shalya (an impurity such as bones buried in land).

Principle

Marble Flooring and Knee, Back and Sinus Problems

Marble is calcium carbonate (CaCO3); homes with all-marble or Italian marble floors and no wooden flooring were found with sinus and bronchitis problems and, over time, pain in the knees, legs, thighs and back.
