Just as a tree, pole or T-junction in front of the main door makes a dwar vedh, a painting of such objects facing the door works as a vedh. Dark and light wall colours are also planned by direction.
Interior work is done to change the mind, because everything follows from the mind. Pictures, colours and objects (chitra) change the state of mind (chitt), so the goal the mind should be led to must be fixed first.
