The teacher's son, at about three years old, picked up a rod untaught and it began to turn at once: he was a born dowser. The teacher himself found out in 1991, when a coconut in his hand jumped and fell 40 feet away. Sometimes the current is so strong that the rod flies out of the hands.
Some dowsers sway or tremble where water is. In highly negative places the teacher's body turns red; in one house he began vomiting and had to leave within 10 minutes. People who live in such energy get used to it, like a worm content in a drain, so only a person whose body reacts can check it.
Feeling unwell near negative people or trembling at heights is not a weakness but dowsing sensitivity. Those who feel nothing can do nadi shodhan for six months, though not everyone becomes a dowser.
