Vastu Devtaसूर्य देवता

Surya Devta (E5, 84.375 to 95.625 Degrees): Profile, Samagri and Remedies

Surya, the fifth devta at the centre of the East, lights the three worlds, destroys darkness and negativity, gives energy to all planets and never misses its time. Balanced, it gives fearlessness, good decisions, speaking power, fame, leadership, government support and perfect time management.

What it does

Activate Surya for leadership, politics, government work, punctuality, confidence and heart health.

Where

Pad E5, the centre of the East, 84.375 to 95.625 degrees (East zone)

Cautions

  • A toilet at E5 brings disgrace; one cannot become a leader even at home
  • A door at E5 brings anger, though administration stays good
  • People who get hyper quickly should not work here
  • Those with poor health or a Sun-Saturn conflict in the chart should not make a bedroom in the East
  • A kitchen here suits only a house where meals are ready by 9 am

Explanation and notes

Nature: pure, nirmal, nirdosh, niramay, niranjan and nirvikar; it needs nobody's order, praise or insult and never changes its time. The first ray of the Sun falling on a planet makes that planet's hora and names the weekday. A house where people wake up late has Surya inactive; rising before sunrise keeps it active. It is a leading power that opens the eyes of knowledge and makes good speakers, kings, ministers and organisers. Body link: heart. Imbalanced signs: fear, wrong and slow decisions, no time management, heart disease. A fully blocked East keeps it imbalanced however many treatments are done. Good uses: bathroom (its ideal zone), administration, manager's chamber, locker, planning, meeting and conference rooms, office. Businesses: politics, administration and government work.
