Ati Marma Remedies: Herbs, Metal Kurma (Tortoise) and Gems

Blocked marma and ati marma points are opened with injection-like remedies: special herbs are placed under marma points, while metal kurma (tortoise) figures, metals and precious minerals are installed on the ati marma. They reopen the blocked energy channels of the land.

Questions and answers

Do stairs matter when marking the ati marma points?

Stairs play no role in the marking itself; the points are found from the plot and the devtas wherever the stairs are. But no staircase, no column and ideally not even a wall should stand on an ati marma. These points should be left empty.

Are marma and ati marma applicable in flat vastu?

Yes. The ati marma of a flat should also be found and kept free, just as in a house or plot.

Is there any AutoCAD software for marking the marma points?

No special software is needed. Draw the chakra and devta lines once in AutoCAD as short reference lines; for every new map just align them and join the lines, which takes about a minute.

Does everything taught today also apply to an apartment or flat, or only to a kothi?

Everything taught today applies to flats as well, except bhoomi vibhajan. In a flat it is already done: the space left around the building during construction is its Pishach bhoomi. Ati marma, zoning and directions all apply inside the flat.

What is the difference between marma and ati marma?

Every point across the whole plot where the grid lines cross is a marma, so there are many of them, and not only in the Pishach bhoomi. The nine ati marma, formed by the six devta-to-devta lines, are the ones that matter most.

In a flat, the wall that divides the hall falls on an ati marma; what can be done?

A wall on an ati marma is wrong, but when it belongs to another room it usually cannot be removed. Remedies such as the nine herbs mentioned in class give some results, and the full remedies are taught in the remedy classes.

What if an ati marma falls under a wall, column, bed or sofa, for example in the dining area?

In any room of any house, kothi or flat, a wall on an ati marma is not good, a column is very bad and a bed is even worse. A sofa also has an effect, but it is not much of a problem unless someone sits on that very spot for long hours every day.

Can a remedy be injected into an existing wall that stands on an ati marma?

Yes. Injection-type remedies, in which metal, gems and herbs are installed at the point, are used, and the full method is taught in the remedy classes. With a wall or column already standing there, expect only about 50% result, never the full result.

Why did ancient texts advise leaving an open courtyard in the centre of the house?

Because in a regular, proportionate plot almost all nine ati marma fall in the Brahmasthan. So an aangan (courtyard) or open space was left there, or the area was kept free of regular stable activity and heavy items. In an irregular plot there is no guarantee where the points fall.

If furniture made by carpenters is placed on a devta's pad, does it affect the devta?

All 45 devta places cannot be left empty, or there would be nowhere to live or keep things in a house or flat. The Vedic texts say to protect the ashtamansh (one-eighth part of the pad); wooden items kept on any devta's place, even on a marma, are not counted as a dosh, because wood does not sink in water but floats. Besides, the devta's place lies beneath us, and the devta is basically a particular energy.
