Before construction, spread lime dissolved in water over the entire land below the flooring. Given as a brahmastra and one of the sanskars of land, it nullifies geopathic negative energy.

Natural four-axis crystallised hexagonal quartz spread under the flooring energises a room or plot and nullifies the defect of a room built in an unsuitable zone.
Under the floor of the whole office, room or plot, especially rooms forced into zones such as SSW, WNW, SE or ESE
When a corner is cut and there is no space to build on it, the foundation (bunyaad) is joined underground to complete the regular shape. The current then flows in the full shape, so the cut above ground causes no defect.

When negativity shows on a land at the start of work, keep performing havan with aahuti and mantra jaap until the smell turns fragrant; the negative energy then leaves on its own.
On the land where work is starting
If at least 6 ft of soil is filled above the place where a bone lies, even a cremation ground beneath causes no trouble, provided the 16 sanskars of the land are then performed on top.

When a person with a debilitated Shani (Saturn) builds, small pieces of shami wood are placed in all four corners first and the iron (steel) is laid on top of them.

Steel reinforcement raises the electromagnetic current in modern buildings; a copper pyramid of a particular angle placed at the bottom of every column nullifies this negative energy.

Bricks stamped with a swastik create strong negative energy once laid in toilets or under the feet, because the sacred symbol is dishonoured. Where such bricks are already used, spray the brickwork with gomutra before plastering.

A room built with mud as the adhesive instead of cement mortar carries the highest energy; in the Ishan (NE) it removes many NE doshas.
North-East (Ishan) of the house
At the shilanyas or bhoomi poojan of any house or factory the first tilak goes to the mason (shilpi), contractor or Vastu consultant, not the pandit, and they are given the best clothes and a shriphal (coconut). Their goodwill enters the building, while a craftsman's tears of hurt in the mortar act like a buried bone (shalya dosh).
Vastu pooja is the prana pratishtha of a house: just as an idol is not worshipped until its prana pratishtha, a house is established only through Vastu pooja. It is due at fixed stages of construction and again whenever the house is disturbed.
When nothing is built on or around a plot yet, ask the engineer to draw the surrounding roads on the plan, straighten the road in the map and take the road's degree. Alternatively, take the degree of a parallel neighbouring building, ask the engineer which line the house will follow, or visit the site.
If the foundation stone (shilanyas) has been laid in the wrong direction, the earlier shilanyas is formally dissolved and a fresh one is performed in a new auspicious muhurta.
The full purification done where a bone has been dug out, the land's equivalent of the rites after a death: vastu registry with five coconuts, removal of the affected soil, agni sanskar with mango wood, water, gomutra and cow-dung purification, lime and sulphur, a 24-hour lamp and mercury.
The spot where the bone was found, the surrounding soil, and the four corners of the plot
Filling soil should come only from fertile fields or mountains, never from polluted or inauspicious places, and should be taken after giving a coconut and asking permission of the place's devta.
Plinth and floor filling of the house
Gomti chakra are laid as a circle in the brahm nabhi, as a square in a chabutra and as a full line in the dehleez, and are used in every kind of door power. Each one must be laid with its smooth white face up.
Brahm nabhi (centre of the brahmasthan), chabutra, dehleez (threshold) and doors
Mixing a handful to about a kilo of a chosen soil into the flooring raises the energy for a purpose: cowshed, mountain or elephant-stable soil for peace, yellow soil for business, white or yellow soil for homes, and pilgrimage or river soil for temples.
Flooring of the house, factory or temple
Door power means installing the dehleez, the base wood of the four-piece door frame, in a proper muhurta and swar with protective samagri placed in the ground beneath it. Done this way it removes about 50 percent of the dosh even of a wrongly placed door.

After Om and swastik the kalash is the greatest symbol and is established before every beginning (wedding, business start, construction, any of the 16 sanskar). A filled mangal kalash with a coconut in the North-East of every home, factory and office forms Gajkesari yoga and balances the five elements.

Griha arambh (start of construction), griha pravesh, factory opening and other auspicious (mangalik) events are held in daytime, because work begun with the sun's energy goes well. After sunset creation is considered asleep.
Before construction of a house or factory begins, the muhurta for the shilanyas or start of work is fixed from the rashi of the owner. If the Moon falls 4th, 8th or 12th from his rashi, money stays short however good the Vastu and the door.
Vastu poojan is done not only at the start of construction but at several stages and family events; at griha arambh and griha pravesh it is essential.
The whole house, with an offering at every devta pad
Seeds of five grains sown in a small watered patch of the land show its energy by how fast they sprout: within three days is excellent, five days moderate, and no sprout in seven days marks an inferior, infertile land.
A 2 x 2 feet patch at the site of the planned building
Locates bones and other shalya (harmful objects) buried in a plot. A dowsing rod or pendulum turning anti-clockwise over a spot, or the breath (swar) shifting into sushumna while standing there, confirms that something negative is buried at that point.
Any raw plot or existing building, at the spot where the rod turns anti-clockwise
Bricks and stones are male or female: when struck, one gives a khan sound and the other a jhan sound. Joining a male with a female, like plus with minus, makes them hold each other for ages.
Brick and stone masonry
Gravitational force acts between the earth and every building, object and person. When columns, beams, walls, plaster and elevation are aligned with plumb line and level, the force stays balanced and the occupants remain healthy and alert; misalignment brings obstacles, illness and loss.
Plinth beam, columns, beams, walls and elevation
Ash of any kind, including thermal power plant fly ash, is treated as shalya (an impure defect, like buried bone). However good the Vastu structure, sun rays falling on fly ash bricks reflect onto the occupants and affect them negatively.
Vastu results depend equally on four factors: dravya (the money used), kshetra (the land), kaal (the muhurta) and bhav (the feelings of the builders and residents). A perfectly planned house still fails if any one of them is wrong.
Every house, however small, carries the Vastu Purush's eyes, nose, ears, hands, feet, heart, navel and other parts, including the marma and ati-marma (vital) points. A column, pit or stud on these points harms the occupants, just as a speck of dust in the eye or an injury to a vital organ harms the body.
Marma and ati-marma points of the Vastu Purush on the plan
Fly ash bricks, the grey, cement-coloured bricks made from ash, which are now widely used, for example throughout a large medical college project of about 1000 flats. They create a large Vastu defect, because Vastu lies in the material as well as in the direction.
Because the feelings (bhav) of the builder enter the building. Honouring the mason, contractor or Vastu consultant with tilak, good clothes and a coconut makes him work with joy, while a hurt craftsman's tears in the mortar bring repeated sorrow to the house.
If the shortfall is on the South-West side, the South-West is cut. Simply build on an exact 31 x 31 square.
Yes, it can. The methods for converting any irregular shape into a regular one are taught in the treatment classes.
Ask the engineer who draws the basic plan to show the surrounding roads, straighten the road in your map and take the road's degree. You can also use any parallel neighbouring building, since parallel buildings always read the same, ask the engineer which line the house will follow, or visit the spot.
Fix a fresh auspicious muhurta for shilanyas, dissolve (khandit) the earlier one, and perform it again in the new muhurta. It is dissolved the way an installed kalash is removed: by addressing the devtas who supported the earlier shilanyas with a request about it.
No. A farmer who sows a seed does not end his bond with it there: he protects, waters and nurtures it until it flowers, fruits and grows into a shady tree, even a kalpavriksha (wish-fulfilling tree). In the same way, Indian architecture holds that a structure of stone and lime is not lifeless; prana settles into the building and its soil and controls the feelings of the people who live there, so the devtas established in the land must keep being nurtured.
After the digging and the garbh vinyas, the plinth beam was raised and then left for one season, about three months. The secret was to let the sun, the moon, the 27 nakshatras and the 9 planets fully work on the land whose devtas had been worshipped, so that the soil became charged and energised before building went on.
Students answered griha pravesh and bhoomi poojan, which is only partly right: the greatest effect comes at the garbh vinyas or shilanyas, the day the land is taken over and the foundation is laid. Then the pishach, manushya, dev and brahma bhoomi are marked, the vastu pooja is done and every devta, 32 in the pishach bhoomi and the rest inside, is worshipped at its own place with its samagri, following the vidhi. A child cannot be born without a seed in the womb, and food works only through the mouth, not the ear or nose, so the biggest pooja, havan and sthapana belong to that day; building over the devtas afterwards is like tethering a cow first and then building its shed. Done later, remedies bring back only about 35% of that role, though even 5% is a lot.
If construction covers only part of the plot with space left all around, the 45 devtas are allocated on the whole plot and their places are selected on it.
No. A lot of misleading talk goes around about the 45 devtas. The maximum remedy has to be done when the land is prepared and built on; the other remedies taught for later cannot activate a devta 100% and bring it only to about 30 to 35%.
Removing the bone is not enough; the land needs its rites, just as a house is purified after a death. Do a vastu registry with five coconuts (four corners and the bone spot), remove the affected soil, do agni sanskar with mango wood, ghee and camphor in 16 places and float the ash in flowing water, purify with water and mantra, sprinkle gomutra and plaster with cow dung, put lime and sulphur in the pit, keep a lamp burning there for 24 hours, and mix a little mercury into the soil and the four corners. If the shilanyas had already been done, it is broken and must be redone after purification.
