Clock Placement: North Wall Only, Dial Colours and Other Clock Rules

A clock represents Mercury, so it is hung on the North wall; on other walls it delays work. Every home needs working clocks, never stopped ones, and a small running clock in the safe increases the effect of Mercury.

What it does

To get work done on time and support business through Mercury.

Where

North wall; tijori

Samagri used

  • Wall clock with a white, green or black dial for the North wall
  • Small running clock for the tijori

See every other use of:

How to do it

  1. 1Hang the clock on the North wall
  2. 2Choose a white, green or black dial for the North
  3. 3Keep a small running clock inside the tijori (safe)
  4. 4Repair or remove clocks that have stopped

Cautions

  • Never hang a clock in the South
  • A clock on the East wall (yellow, pink or green dial), South wall (pink, green or red) or West wall (white) brings delays in work; on the East you will not wake up early
  • Never hang a clock behind a door
  • Do not keep stopped clocks in the house
  • Do not keep Moon or Mars items with a clock; they are enemies of Mercury

Explanation and notes

The metal and shape of the dial should also suit the direction. Since mobiles replaced clocks, the effect of Mercury in homes has reduced; earlier, clock towers and big wall clocks were put up for business progress. A clock that suddenly stops while its battery and mechanism are fine is taken as a sign of some event.
