Pit Water Movement Test: Reading Land Energy from Swirl and Bubbles

Pure water poured with a mantra into a small pit dug in the North-East, East or Brahmasthan swirls clockwise on good land and anticlockwise on negative land; the speed of the swirl and the place and behaviour of the air bubbles show the whole plot's energy and its buried defects.

What it does

To read the energy of a whole plot, and whether its defects can be treated, from one small pit.

Where

North-East, East or Brahmasthan of the land

Samagri used

  • Pit about 11 inches deep (up to 15 inches) and 9 inches in diameter
  • Pure water

How to do it

  1. 1Dig a pit about 11 inches deep, or deeper up to 15 inches, and 9 inches in diameter in the North-East, East or Brahmasthan of the land
  2. 2Check that the pit has no insects before pouring water, and clear them if there are
  3. 3Mark the directions (NE, SE, SW, NW, N, S, E, W) in the pit
  4. 4Facing North or East, with a pure mind, pour pure water into the pit in a single stream while chanting the pit-test mantra taught in class or the Gayatri Mantra
  5. 5Watch the swirl: fast clockwise means excellent land, a gentle steady clockwise swirl means good, and a slow clockwise swirl means moderate
  6. 6If half the water turns clockwise and half anticlockwise, take half the land as good and half as bad
  7. 7If the water turns anticlockwise, take the land as negative: fast anticlockwise means very bad, slow anticlockwise means negativity in a smaller amount
  8. 8Watch the air bubbles: in which direction of the pit they form, in what percentage, and whether they burst, stay or merge
  9. 9If the bubbles drift aside and vanish and the water finally turns clean, the land will become fine after treatment

Cautions

  • The test does not work on sandy land, on land with very high porosity or permeability that soaks up the water at once, or on fractured land with many cracks; it works on solid land
  • Insects coming out of the soil after water is poured are not an omen
  • An air bubble bursting with a sudden cracker-like sound can be a negative indication

Explanation and notes

The small pit represents the energy of the whole plot. What is seen inside the bubbles reveals a buried bone (shalya) or another negative-energy element, or an outside influence (bahari hawa). How dirty or clean the water stays at the end shows the health, wealth and peace of the land. The full method takes two to three hours to teach, and the practical takes about an hour. Some lands do not become fine with ordinary treatment. On lands where the water turned anticlockwise, the 16 sanskars of the soil (taught separately) were performed, and when a pit was dug and tested again the water swirled clockwise. Exact words of the pit-test mantra: refer to the class recording.

Principle

Land Energy Carries 70 Percent Weight in Land Selection

When selecting a plot, flat or industrial land, the energy of the land itself decides about 70 percent of the result, more than slope, shape or surrounding structures. A building made fully as per directional vastu can still fail on land with bad energy.

Dehleez Test: Breath and Body Signs When Setting Out to See a Plot

The threshold (dehleez) of the home acts as a testing machine: the moment you step over it to go and see a plot, flat or factory, your breath and body signal whether that property is good. Equal flow in both nostrils or left-side body signs warn against it; earth or water element in the breath and right-side signs approve it.

Predictionशकुन शास्त्र

Inauspicious Omens on the Way to See a Plot or Flat

Shakun shastra (nimitta gyan) reads the signs met on the way to a property; certain sights and events on the journey warn that the plot or flat is not good. They arise because the land's energy is already acting on the visitor's body chemistry.

Testingशल्य

Locating Buried Shalya from Bird Droppings, Injury and Itching

Where a bird's droppings fall on the visitor's body or clothes, where the visitor gets hurt, or where itching starts on the way to or while walking a land points to the matching part of the Vastu Purush where a defect or buried bone (shalya) lies.

Prediction

Dog, Jackal and Crow Omens at the Plot

The behaviour of street dogs, jackals and crows at a plot or flat reveals its quality: a crow cawing while facing East or North is a good sign, while crying dogs and a crow on a dry tree are grave warnings.

Prediction

Sights and Sounds on First Entering a Land or Flat

What one first sees and hears on stepping onto a land or into a flat indicates its energy: black items, broken things, snake holes and harsh sounds are bad signs, while a conch, aarti or auspicious songs, a rainbow or a joyful sky are good ones.
