Principle

Toilet Never in Brahmasthan, Opposite Main Door or Kitchen, or Under Stairs

Four positions are forbidden for a toilet whatever the zone: the Brahmasthan, directly opposite the main door, directly opposite the kitchen and under the staircase.

What it does

Prevents a toilet from upsetting the energy balance of the entire house.

Where

Not in the Brahmasthan, not directly in front of the main door or the kitchen, not under the stairs

Cautions

  • A toilet in the Brahmasthan spoils every zone of the house at once, as if toilets were built in all of them
  • A toilet directly facing the main door or the kitchen, or built under the stairs, disturbs the energy balance of the whole house

Principle

Toilet Effects in Each of the 16 Zones

Zone-by-zone results of a toilet: SSW and WNW are workable, NW and ESE only in an emergency, and every other zone damages what that zone governs.
