Bell or ghanta made of ashtadhatu (eight-metal alloy)
Inside the house, where its sound reaches every room
Hang an ashtadhatu (eight-metal) bell at the main door and ring it on entering. Its sound waves drive away negative energy sitting at the door so that positive energy enters with you.
Ashtadhatu bell (ghanta), made from the metals of the planets
Main door, whether it stands on a right or a wrong pada
Ashtadhatu contains the metals that represent all nine planets, so an ashtadhatu bell pacifies the nine planets. Electric bells have replaced it today, but ringing an ashtadhatu bell sends its vibrations through the whole house.
