Is the mantra for the ghat diya method written on the kalash or on the floor, with what, and is it wiped off afterwards?

Write it on the floor, not on the kalash, using kesar. Once the method is complete, the mantra has to be wiped clean with a cloth.

Can the kesar swastik test be done on kitchen wall tiles?

It can be made on kitchen tiles, but a whitewashed surface is a must for the test. Make it in the earth (prithvi) tatva of Surya swar.
