Kilan With Copper Nails to Separate Two Merged Flats With a Toilet at the Centre

When two flats are merged and the toilet falls at the new centre, do kilan separately for each flat: four copper nails at the corners of one flat and four at the corners of the other, so that the energy current moves along each set of nails and the two flats work as separate units.

What it does

Removes the defect of a toilet at the centre of a merged flat, here linked to stomach problems of the head of the family, when the toilet cannot be moved.

Where

The four corners of each of the two merged flats

When

Best muhurta: Dussehra or Diwali

Samagri used

  • 8 copper nails, about 1.5 inch long (four for each flat)
  • Drill, for flats on upper floors

See every other use of:

How to do it

  1. 1Treat each original flat as a separate unit.
  2. 2Start from the South-East corner; all nailing work begins in the South-East.
  3. 3Drill and fix one copper nail at each of the four corners of the first flat.
  4. 4Fix four copper nails at the four corners of the second flat in the same way.

Cautions

  • Use only copper nails.
  • Do not start from any corner other than the South-East.

Explanation and notes

At griha pravesh a raksha sutra thread is tied around the whole house and nails are driven into the four corners of the land; the energy current then moves only along those four nails. Kilan divides the current in the same way, which is why it separates the two flats. Removing the toilet is the other option, but it is rarely practical. An upper floor is no obstacle: only 1.5-inch nails have to be fixed in drilled holes. The complete kilan vidhi is taught in the practical training.

Principle

32 Outer Devtas of the 81 Pad Grid: 11.25 Degrees Each

The 81 pad grid, used for any house, factory, business or office, has 32 devtas (the 32 digpal) seated around its outer ring in the pishach bhoomi. One round covers 360 degrees, so each outer pad covers 360 divided by 32, that is 11.25 degrees, and half a pad 5.625 degrees.

Principle

Sixteen Zones of 22.5 Degrees and the Three Parts of Each Corner

Directions fall at every 90 degrees, the corner directions (vidisha) at 45 degrees and the zones at every 22.5 degrees, giving 16 zones. Each corner has three parts with different properties, for example Nairitya splits into dakshini nairitya (SSW), nairitya (SW) and paschimi nairitya (WSW).

Principle

North-East Zone: Clarity of Mind and the Place of Worship

About two hours before sunrise the sun sends ultraviolet rays into the North-East, which bring the greatest alertness to the neurons and glial cells of the brain. This pure energy suits the pure soul, so the North-East is the zone of clarity of mind and the place for worship.
