Sagun Practice: Lighting Lamps and Blowing the Shankh While Holding the Breath

Sagun means doing an act while holding the breath. A lamp lit in sagun burns many times longer on the same ghee, and a shankh blown in sagun with a wish in mind drives negative energy out of the house.

What it does

Multiplies the effect of lamps and shankh naad through swar.

Where

Kitchen, puja room or anywhere in the house

When

Whenever lighting a lamp or blowing the shankh

Samagri used

  • Diya with ghee
  • Shankh (conch)

How to do it

  1. 1Hold the breath (sagun)
  2. 2Light the lamp in that state
  3. 3For the shankh, keep the wish in mind, hold the breath and blow the conch

Explanation and notes

A 100 gram ghee lamp lit at Dussehra burned for 10 to 12 days, and the teacher has kept a 10 gram lamp burning for 27 days in sagun. As soon as the shankh naad sounds in sagun, negative energy leaves the house. Full practical training is given in the swar vigyan course.
