Do Not Float a Lit Diya in Water: Fire and Water Clash

Artefacts of enemy elements kept together block success; a lamp lit in a bowl of water joins fire and water and is allowed only on Diwali.

What it does

Avoids failure in work caused by anti-element combinations in the office or home.

Where

Offices, reception areas and homes

When

A diya in water may be lit only on Diwali day

Cautions

  • Never keep a lit diya floating in water except on Diwali
  • Do not place fire and water artefacts side by side

Explanation and notes

Planets and elements are almost the same: the 12 rashis represent the nine planets and each planet has an element. When artefacts of hostile planets or elements, like fire and water, are placed together, no work succeeds. To succeed, keep artefacts related to the friend of your element.

Avoid Fly Ash Bricks: Ash Is Treated as Shalya

Bricks made from thermal plant fly ash mixed with sand and adhesive materials are wrong according to Vedic vastu, which likens ash (raakh) to shalya (an impurity such as bones buried in land).
