Manushya Bhoomi: What to Build, and No Pits at the Pishach Transition Points

The manushya bhoomi, the second band inward, takes the main door, windows, kitchen, bedrooms, dining room, puja room and stairs. No shilanyas, boring or pit should be made in it, and above all not at the corners of its transition with the pishach bhoomi, where the shishu pishach and pishacha points lie.

Principleजल तत्व

Water Element (Jal Tatva): Attributes, Zone and Effects in the House

The water element is wavy or moon-shaped, white, located from North to North-East, liquid by nature and ruled by the Moon and Venus. Borings, wells, underground tanks, basins and other water sources represent it; balanced it brings joy, peace, confidence and wealth, imbalanced it brings irritation, disease and loss of money.

Principleदक्षिण दिशा के द्वार पद

South Door Padas and Their Results (S4 the Only Good One)

In the South only S4 (Grihakshat) gives happiness, peace, prosperity and business profit. S2, S3, S5, S6, S7 (the debt door) and S8 bring lack of children, servitude, suffering, selfishness, debt and disease.

Questions and answers

A house has its entry in the Agni kon (South-East), an underground water tank in the South-East with the stairs over it, and the slope running to the South. The family fights constantly. What is the remedy?

Either leave the house or treat it: close the South-East underground water tank immediately and correct the slope. The staircase can stay. An overhead tank in the South-East is acceptable.

Fire is the enemy of water. What can be done if the water source of a house lies in the South?

Remedies for such anti-element placements are taught later, in the remedy classes. First learn each element, its zone, its friends and its enemies; the corrections for a water source in the wrong zone come when the course reaches remedial vastu.

Do these boring and underground tank rules apply to farms too?
Are an underground water tank and a septic tank the same?

No, there is a world of difference between them, and they follow different rules and locations.

In a factory, where should the water used by labour be stored?

In the same places prescribed for underground and overhead water tanks; there is no separate location, whether the water is for the labour or for the owner.

We live in a housing society and do not know where the boring or septic tank is. Will it still affect us?

Yes. Not knowing makes no difference: the sun gives its rays whether or not someone believes in it, and a person who knows nothing of vastu still gets its doshas. A wrongly placed tank, boring, septic tank or sewer line affects the residents whether they know about it or not.

Why do an underground water tank, drawing room, puja room and conference room suit Shikhi (E1)?

When Adi Prabhu (Shiva) did sadhana on Kailash, the friction produced heat that began to melt the mountain, so water matters most for cooling this place; Shikhi's energy stored with water also spreads through the house and keeps removing about 50% of its vastu doshas. In the drawing room the family sits as if in sadhana and makes its plans and policies, and in a conference room others are convinced with one's ideas and vision and given targets. Worship of Adi Prabhu (Shiva) in a puja room here raises the energy further; an office and a borewell also suit this pad.

In the vastu purush concept, should the NE diagonal be kept free of an underground water tank?

Correct, not on the exact diagonal where the head of Shikhi devta falls. Vedic vastu calculates the Shishu Pishach points, and no shilanyas pit, water pit or any other pit is dug on them; this is taught in the diploma.

My house covers the whole 200-square-yard plot. Its only door opens on N3-N4, but an underground water tank lies right after the entrance. Will this door give its good results, and which door counts as the main door?

No door gives results, however good its pada, if it suffers a vedh such as a pit, tree, T-junction, pillar or column at the door. Here the energy entering through the door falls into the pit of the tank, so close that tank. When the whole plot is built and you enter through one door, that is the main door; generally the main door is the one through which you reach inside the house after the gate. A door made at the back after circling the house (prishtha bhang dwar), or one you leave anti-clockwise, also fails to give full results, even on N4.
